"I wanted to write in to let you know that I chose Hawkins & Walker PC to handle a speeding ticket and they really helped make the process as painless as possible. I first chose them over some of the other lawyers I found because their website stated that they only charged $40 if the ticket wasn't under warrant, which it was not. I then used the form on their site to contact them, and they responded promptly giving me a number to call in and discuss further. I was told on the phone that they would E-Mail me some info., and then I could fill it out, send it back to them, and they would handle the rest.
After sending in the required information along with my payment information, Hawkins & Walker did handle everything else. They let me know that a court date was set, and that I could choose to attend the hearing if I liked but didn't have to. They also let me know which attorney would be representing me, and how they would go about the case. They kept me informed during every step, which was good to know since I wanted to know what was going on.
Finally the court date came, and the next day they E-Mailed to let me know that they kept the ticket off my record, and I only had to pay a fee to the court (which is standard.) So for anyone in the Dallas, Fort Worth, or surrounding areas, I can say that Hawkins & Walker PC is a good firm to contact if you need a lawyer to handle a speeding ticket that won't break your bank (they were the lowest price for speeding tickets I found in the area.)
